Refund Policy

TributeOak is owned and operated by Albatross eCommerce LLC. Most of our customers come to us at a difficult moment, and we want our refund policy to be straightforward. Because our offerings are digital and often personalised, refunds are handled according to the specific rules below. This Refund Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware and should be read together with our Terms & Conditions.
1. When to request a refund
All refund requests must be submitted within thirty (30) days of the original purchase date. Requests received after this period will be reviewed at our discretion but are not guaranteed.
2. Memorial publications
Once a memorial has been created and published, the digital service is considered delivered. Refunds for memorial publication fees, where they apply, may be issued only in cases of verified technical errors, for example, duplicate charges or accidental double-payments. If a memorial has been published and you wish to take it down, we will remove it on request.
3. Tree plantings
Tree plantings are fulfilled by our third-party reforestation partners. Once an order has been submitted to a partner for fulfilment it is considered an executed service and is non-refundable.
In the rare case that a planting cannot be fulfilled after reasonable attempts, we will arrange an alternative, such as planting through a different partner, or, at our discretion, issue a full refund. We will let you know if your order cannot be fulfilled.
4. Subscriptions
If you hold a subscription, it renews automatically at the end of each billing period. To avoid being charged for the next period, cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel from your account settings or by writing to support.
We do not refund partial billing periods or charges incurred after a renewal date. If you believe you were charged after a timely cancellation, write to us and we will investigate and issue a refund where warranted.
5. Duplicate or unauthorised charges
Duplicate charges, charges made by someone without authority, and clear billing errors are refunded in full as soon as we are able to verify them.
6. How to request a refund
To request a refund, email support@tributeoak.com from the address on the account, with your order reference (or the email you used) and a brief reason. We aim to respond to all refund inquiries within five (5) business days.
7. Processing
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Depending on your bank or card provider, the credit typically appears within five to ten (5–10) business days.
8. Late or missing refunds
If an approved refund has not arrived within the expected window: (1) check your bank or payment account again; (2) contact your bank or card issuer, as processing times vary; and (3) if you have done both and the refund is still missing, write to support@tributeoak.com.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. For material changes we will give at least thirty (30) days’ advance notice by email or prominent notice on the Service. Purchases made before a change takes effect are governed by the policy in force at the time of purchase.
